James Stewart, LMSW, MDiv, MA

James Stewart is responsible for all aspects of administration, financial management, program development and leadership for Center Lane. He received his Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work, an MA from Fordham University and a Master’s in Divinity from MaryKnoll School of Theology. Mr. Stewart has more than 20 years' experience working with adolescents and their families in schools, community, and hospital-based settings throughout the tri-state area.

Alexander Drab Jr., BA
Youth Counselor

Alexander Drab Jr. is responsible for individual counseling, group facilitation, community outreach, and workshops and trainings in schools and human services organizations. Alex graduated from SUNY Purchase with a BA in Liberal Studies.  He has over five years experience in the human services field, as a counselor, trainer and educator with Camp Venture, Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Victim Assistance Services and Mid-Hudson AIDS Task Force.

Lisa deMauro, MS Ed
Youth Counselor

Lisa deMauro does individual and group counseling and facilitates groups and training sessions for educators and students. She received her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lehman College and her Bachelor’s in history from Middlebury College. She has done diversity training and anti-discrimination facilitation for the Anti-Defamation League, GLSEN, and Embracing Diversity and Ending Racism. When she’s not at Center Lane, she works part-time as a school counselor in a New York City middle school.

Nigel Sealey, BA
Group Facilitator

Nigel Sealey facilitates Friday night groups in Yonkers, counsels individual and takes part in trainings and tabling events. He received his Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work from Iona College. The Brooklyn native began his association with Center Lane as an intern and moved directly to a staff position upon graduation. He plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Social Work.
